True, there used to be a cable youd have to plug onto the CD Rom and onto the sound blaster board but that went away around the time quad speed CD Roms appeared. _ Windows MVP 2010-20 Millions helped via my tutorials and personally in forums for 12 years. Audio should be pulling digitally from the ROM drive - you shouldnt have had to hook up an analog cable between a sound card and a rom drive for probably 15+ years.
